Cavern of Ultimate Bliss

This time, we have travel north to the Gunung Rapat. Through the housing area, we ventured up to Kek Lok Tong (Cavern of Ultimate Bliss). The entry is free!
Kek Lok Tong is a limestone cave where you can see the wonderful Art Works of mother nature. The stalactites and stalagmites are the key feature to the whole scene. There are also some statues of Buddhas and Taoist Gods and Goddess sitting so serenely on various alters. The pictures show the car park out side the cave, the status of Goddess of Mercy (Kuan Ying) the Natural cave on top of the hill, the inside views and all the way to the other side of the cave.

Leaning Tower in Malaysia


If you are in Malaysia, and pass by Perak or Ipoh, make a trip to Teluk Intan and you will be able to see this. It is just at the junction of Sungai Perak and Sungai Bidor. If fact, for those from Kuala Lumpur, it is just about 2 hours from north KL. This leaning clock tower (jam besar), was built in more that 112 years ago (in 1885) by a mourning Chinese merchant as a memorial to his wife.

Tour schedule for Gua Tempurung

Gua Tempurung is probably the largest of such natural limestone underground cavity in Malaysia.

There are 6 different guided tours offered to the tourist with very minimum price. Golden Flowstone is one of the tour that charge 6 RM (RM vs USD is ablut 1 USD 3.35 RM) for adult and 2.5 for child below 12.

The 40 min walk Gloden Flowstone tuor is the shortest tour that is available among the 6 different tours.

The first Golden flowstone in a day depart at 945 and the last is 1615. There is a tour every half and hour except after 1145 before 1415. More info can be found at Gua Tempurung - The Official e-Tourism Portal for The Ministry.
